On the Autumn 2005 'Blue Bus Mountain" tour, Drekka, Annelies Monsere and Vollmar were invited to perform at the 4AD club in Diksmuide . Part of the show would be broadcast on the alternative programme, 'Duyster' live on Studio Brussel for an audience of many thousands. I chose to use my allotted time to perform a tribute to Jhonn Balance of Coil, much to the bemusement of many (and I hope pleasure of some) . It just felt like the right thing to do.
As I often do while on tour, I immediately turned the recording into a little tour souvenir in an edition of 23 3"CDRs, housed in Dutch Postbank envelopes which I sold at the merch table at the following shows.
I sent the first and last copies to Peter Christopherson and Ian Johnstone, although Peter later told me he did not remember receiving them but that they may have wound up in a memorial chest for Jhonn during his move to Thailand . I will never know, but that is okay.
This digital re-release contains additional photos, containing photos of the original artwork for the hand-made edition, plus a live photo of the concert from which the recording is taken.
