"And we shall drink the new wine" is the first collaborative release from Drekka (Mkl Anderson) and onewayness (Adam Holquist). It was recorded in preparation for their DRxONE 2021 fall Midwest tour, a celebration of 10 years of friendship and sharing stages, and a tentative first return to live touring for both artists since the Before Times.

Each section was recorded quickly and spontaneously using sounds, instruments and materials close to hand, in reaction to the preceding section. Featuring disembodied pianos, organ, kalimba, tapes, objects, and field recordings both old and new, the results suggest a slow scan through the dial of shortwave radio stations of undetermined origin.
